PARKING GUIDELINES

No person shall park any vehicle for a period of time longer than 30 minutes on any street in the Village between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. of any day, except emergency vehicles and personnel or physicians on emergency calls.

However, recognizing there are special circumstances that occur from time to time, permission can be obtained from the Police Department for overnight street parking. Click below to submit an online request.

Please note: No overnight parking is permitted on any Village street in the event of a snowfall that is expected or exceeds two inches.

Persons with Disabilities

Temporary Placards

Temporary Placards are red in color and can be issued by local municipalities.  An application must be completed and certified by your personal physician.  Click the Parking Permit image to access the online application.

Permanent Placards

Permanent Placards are blue in color and can only be issued by the Secretary of State.  Municipalities do not have the ability to issue permanent placards.
