It is of utmost importance that anyone who owns a firearm understands it is a right and responsibility that must never be taken lightly. The Village of Spring Grove Ordinance - Discharging of Firearms:
It shall be unlawful to discharge any firearms including but not limited to air guns, BB guns, and paint guns in the Village; provided that this section shall not be construed to prohibit any officer of the law to discharge a firearm in the performance of his duty, nor to any citizen to discharge a firearm when lawfully defending his person or property.
How do I obtain a FOID (Firearm Owner’s Identification Card)?
In case you don’t know what it is, a valid FOID card (Firearm Owner’s Identification Card) is something that is required by state law for all Illinois residents who buy or possess firearms or firearm ammunition.
